Environmental Health Division

The Environmental Health Division is focused on the development and supply of specific product for the protection of both people and the environment.

Our activities comprise Urban Plagues’ Professional Control and Plagues’ Management and Treatment for the food industry, grains, stored products and Green Spaces. We also have products for vector insects’ control.

Since 1980, Chemotécnica has been supplying these products to the National Health Ministry as well as many other provincial and local entities. At the beginning of the nineties, Chemotécnica developed, together with the CIPEIN and supported by the TDR (World Health Organization), a fumigant canister for Triatoma Infestants control. This was the first milestone of a successful series of vector control projects that are still being used.

We also supply Raw Materials (Insecticide Active Ingredients) for the Domestic Pesticides Industries (sprays and liquid insecticides) for domestic insects’ control.

In 2000, we started exporting our products to different countries, like: Brazil, Bolivia, Columbia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay; with the purpose of continue spreading in the near future.
